Description
Dishwasher - Shower Nozzle Some dishwashers are equipped with a removable upper rack. This allows you to wash tall pots in the dishwasher by removing the upper rack and loading pots in the lower rack. Using the shower nozzle: When the upper rack is removed, the shower nozzle must be installed in its place. If this nozzle is not installed, a large stream of water will spray directly on the inner door, causing poor wash performance and excessive noise. The nozzle must be removed when the upper rack is reinstalled. If the nozzle is left in place, the upper rack will not slide all the way back into the dishwasher and the door will not close. Directions for removing the upper rack and installing the shower nozzle can be found in your Owner's Manual. It is approximately 2" in diameter and 2" front to back. Some older models included the shower nozzle, which was found in the bag with the Owner’s Manual. A replacement shower nozzle WD12X10134 is available through GE Appliance Parts.
