For sale is an original hood lip extension molding from a 1958 Cadillac. This piece is often called the mustache piece and mounts on the front of the fender to extend the hood lip molding around the grille. This is part number 1471265 and is for the left side only. PLEASE NOTE: Cadillac had a mid-year design change that affected the hood lip and extension moldings. One set had chamfered ends and the other set had straight ends. I do not know if this is the early model or the late model (I think it is the late model) but it has straight ends. Please verify your application and check before purchase. This will fit 1958 Cadillacs only. This piece is in very good condition for its age. There is some minor pitting, so it is not worthy for the concourse car, but certainly adequate for the local car show cruiser and better than driver condition. It has all three mounting clips included. It is made of pot metal so it can be re-dipped for show condition, or use as it is. These are getting harder and harder to find, so do not miss out!
